Winter is full of various cultural holidays, and it's important to remeber that not all of our kids celebrate Christmas.
 
This completely editable choice board links to information on 8 different winter holidays and has instructions for students to read an article on a holiday that is NOT their own to build awareness, knowledge, and empathy.
 
You can have students engage in small group discussions to complete this activity, or have them do it independently. I added two sets of directions for either option, but delete the ones that you're not going to use, or edit completely to make you own :)
